摘要: Long-Evans male, adult rats received selective and bilateral lesions of either the hippocampus, subiculum or lateral entorhinal cortex, were then housed for 30 days in enriched standard conditions. Rats tested eight-arm radial maze to assess spatial working memory strategies that employed (i.e. pattern arms visited). Lesions hippocampus induced both a working-memory impairment loss use allocentric perform task. with also impaired but less than hippocampectomized showed similar arm visits as control rats. In contrast other lesioned rats, cortex performed task like Postoperative housing conditions (EHC) globally enhanced performance did not affect selected by solve The beneficial effect EHC was particularly obvious subiculum. such lesions, significantly different from present results indicate 1) structures within hippocampal formation are similarly involved learning processes management navigational demands maze, 2) may enhance spared abilities some thus promoting functional recovery.
