Microbiological analysis of seed sprouts in Norway.

摘要: Abstract As part of larger survey microbial contamination fruits and vegetables in Norway, four different sprouted seed products were analysed for bacterial parasitic contaminants ( n =300 analyses =from 17 to 171 parasite analyses, depending on parasite). Escherichia coli O157, Salmonella , Listeria monocytogenes Cyclospora oocysts, Ascaris eggs other helminth parasites not detected any the sprout samples. Thermotolerant coliform bacteria (TCB) isolated from approximately 25% samples, with highest percentage TCB positive samples alfalfa sprouts. Most Enterobacter spp. Klebsiella . E. was 8 62 mung bean Cryptosporidium oocysts 8% Giardia cysts 2% All most Parasite concentrations low (between 1 3 oocysts/cysts per 50 g sprouts). Sprout irrigation water also contaminants.
