摘要: Abstract Embryonic chick tibias, when incubated in a chemically defined medium, grow and synthesize collagen for several days. The tissues display marked dependence upon the presence of L -ascorbic acid culture medium normal growth. Deletion ascorbic reduces synthesis by bones after first 2 days culture. A less drastic reduction other proteins, DNA RNA, was also observed. rate these substances rapidly restored addition acid.
