摘要: Since its discovery in the 1930s, Rift Valley fever virus (RVFV) spread across African continent and invaded Arabian Peninsula several islands off coast of Southeast Africa. The causes recurrent outbreaks these regions, continued is global concern. Next-generation veterinary vaccines improved efficacy safety are being developed that can soon be used for widespread vaccination livestock. However, due to regulatory economic challenges, vaccine manufacturers have been reluctant develop a human vaccine. Recent innovations vaccinology, animal models licensing strategies now overcome hurdles. This paper reviews historical impact RVFV on health proposes license next-generation both animals humans.
