摘要: Twenty-two rats were subjected to 8, 15, 30, or 60 minutes of temporary middle cerebral artery occlusion (n = 5 per group) sham 2) in the magnetic resonance imaging unit. Diffusion-, perfusion-, and T2-weighted acquired before during occlusion, after reperfusion. A coregistration method was used correlate acute changes average apparent diffusion coefficient (ADCav) with histology 72 hours at same topographic sites. The initially reduced ADCav values recovered completely both lateral caudoputamen upper frontoparietal cortex 8-, 15-, 30-minute groups, partially cortex, not all 60-minute group. showed that either normal had mild neuronal injury 8-minute group invariably some degree death 30-, whereas varying degrees groups. No histological abnormalities seen sham-operated rats. Our data suggest reversal does always predict tissue recovery from ischemic focal ischemia for even duration can cause delayed is more severe where initial decline greater than cortex.
