摘要: Abstract The existence of the different R2+/R3+/RIV (R: rare earth) ions as well modifications in structural environment around dopant and co-dopants CaAl2O4:Eu2+,R3+ persistent luminescence materials was studied by LIII edge X-ray Absorption Near Edge Structure (XANES) Extended Fine (EXAFS) measurements at Hamburger Synchrotronstrahlungslabor (HASYLAB) Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY) (Hamburg, Germany). were carried out 10 296 K for selected earth (co-)dopants (Eu2+; Ce3+, Nd3+, Sm3+, Yb3+). XANES results indicated co-existence both divalent trivalent europium all co-doped materials, but only CaAl2O4:Eu2+. measurement temperature did not affect results. interatomic distances extracted from EXAFS data that co-doping creates distortions Eu2+ suggesting aggregation.
