摘要: Biological fixation of orthopedic soft tissue grafts to bone poses a significant clinical challenge. The success tissue–based for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction is limited by the lack functional graft integration with subchondral bone. Soft tissues such as ACL connect via complex interface whereby three distinct regions (ligament, fibrocartilage, and bone) work in concert facilitate load transfer from hard while minimizing stress concentration at interface. Although fibrovascular forms graft-to-bone following surgery, this nonphysiologic represents weak link between We propose that re-establishment native multi-tissue essential biological fixation. In vivo observations our vitro monolayer co-culture results suggest osteoblast-fibroblast interaction important regeneration. This study fo...
