Long-Distance and Rural Travel Transferable Parameters for Statewide Travel Forecasting Models

摘要: This guidebook provides transferable parameters for both personal long-distance travel and rural statewide models, including applications limitations. The guide is a supplement to NCHRP Report 716: "Travel Demand Forecasting: Parameters Techniques," which focused on urban travel. report will be of broad interest demand practitioners at state departments transportation (DOTs), metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs), consultants developing multistate national forecasting intercity passenger large regional especially those covering areas low-density development patterns undeveloped lands. Areas with significant proportion tourist also find this useful in quantifying patterns.
