摘要: Abstract Intact epithelial monolayers of T 84 human colonic adenocarcinoma cells were exposed from the basolateral surfaces to hypo-osmotic media; in responsive tissues this resulted a transient stimulation inward short-circuit current (SCC) peak 12.9 ± 1.5 (S.E., n = 10) μA/cm 2 which declined prestimulation values SCC (2.1 ) within 5 min. Exposure media results an increase cytosolic [Ca 2+ ] i , dependent on extracellular Ca influx. The cell-swelling activated is abolished upon medium Cl − replacement and by 100 μM bumetanide applied basal-surfaces, consistent with resulting transepithelial secretion. DIDS (4,4′-diisothiocyanantostilbene-2,2′-disulphonic acid) also SCC; without effect VIP-stimulated SCC, suggesting distinct channels are involved two responses.
