摘要: • Fifty-one twin pairs, one or both members of each with multiple sclerosis (MS), were analyzed for extraneous events occurring prior to onset. Six patient groupings allowed comparison and without the genetic factor. Comparison monozygotic, discordant (one involved), dizygotic twins showed a difference. The affected monozygotic pairs encountered onset more birth anoxia, unusual infantile childhood infections, major operations, childbirth than did their unaffected twins, difference not found when comparing twins. was most evident in interviewed 30 years after MS. If concordant (both involved) are by early vs late age onset, these occur at an older late- younger early-onset patients, suggesting that they may determine symptoms; suspected be important causation MS genetically susceptible individuals, although mechanism action is unknown.
