摘要: Abstract In the grinding process, coolant has a great influence on environment. It contains chlorine, sulfur and phosphorus to improve efficiency. These additives, however, degenerate workplace atmosphere in end cause environmental pollution. This study focused effects of compressed cold air when spindle shaft materials (SCM4 SCM21) were cylindrically ground with CBN wheels. The cooling effect was introduced compared that coolant. To secure lower temperature, constant-temperature water bath vortex tube used. very effective minimizing thermal defects surface layer. Moreover, it could also play role solving problems.
