摘要: Background Tangential migration presents the primary mode of cortical interneurons translocating into cerebral cortex from subpallial domains. This takes place in multiple streams with most superficial one located marginal zone. While a number forebrain-expressed molecules regulating this process have emerged, it remains unclear to what extent structures outside brain, like forebrain meninges, are involved.
