Synthesis of Bi(FexAl1-x)O3Thin Films by Pulsed Laser Deposition and Its Structural Characterization

摘要: We have been attempting to synthesize perovskite BiAlO3 as a new lead-free piezoelectric material. No indication of the formation phase by bulk ceramic processing or thin film has obtained. Therefore, we undertook solid solution and BiFeO3, which stable structure contains Bi component element. Bi(FexAl1-x)O3 could not be obtained processing. However, succeeded in fabrication single-phase films on (001) SrTiO3 substrates pulsed laser deposition. The crystal was revealed rhombohedral at x=1 tetragonal x=0.9.
