摘要: Accumulation of proline has been observed in a large number plant species response to drought and salt stresses, suggesting key role this amino acid stress adaptation. Upstream components the biosynthesis signal transduction pathways are still poorly defined. We provide experimental evidence that phospholipase D (PLD) is involved regulation metabolism Arabidopsis thaliana. The application primary butyl alcohols, which divert part PLD-derived phosphatidic by transphosphatidylation, stimulated even without hyperosmotic constraints. Moreover, alcohols enhanced responsiveness seedlings mild stress. These data indicate some PLDs negative regulators plants present higher when regulator abolished. clearly demonstrate PLD signaling for similar RD29A gene expression different from abscisic acid-dependent RAB18 expression. Our reveal play positive roles plants, contributing precise ion homeostasis tolerance.
