摘要: The direct peripheral effect of prolactin on LH-stimulated testosterone secretion was re-evaluated using the intact, isolated, perfused rat testis. In paired experiments, one testis infused with hormones being studied; other same used as control. A dose-response curve established first. dose 300 ng LH, which ascending portion curve, selected so that both stimulatory and inhibitory effects could be observed. Prolactin doses ranging from 0 to 3000 were then tested determine alterations in secretion. inhibited at low (less than ng), but augmented LH action high (greater 1000 ng). These results showed interact each a biphasic dose-dependent manner.
