Theory of exciton energy levels in multiply periodic systems

摘要: A general theoretical formalism is developed for evaluating the lowest energy levels of an exciton in a system which finite size, but multiply periodic, one dimension, whilst being infinite extent other two directions. particular application to Kronig-Penney type I multiquantum well-superlattice structure made and significance results described.
