摘要: An 83-year-old woman with multiple comorbidities and severe aortic stenosis presented recurrent pulmonary edema. In light of her high surgical risk, a percutaneous strategy for was decided. Transcatheter valve replacement using balloon-expandable Edwards Sapien XT performed under rapid ventricular pacing. Soon after deployment, the patient went into hemodynamic collapse due to annular root rupture pericardial tamponade, necessitating urgent decompression. Using valve-in-valve technique, deployment second Edward inside first valve, successfully sealed leading recovery.
