摘要: Weather and climate have a crucial influence on tourism activities. As result, is vulnerable to the effects of change. One important category such change in climatic suitability tourist destinations. This study proposes model for landscape management based attractiveness tourists within context Theory Ecological Modernization (TEM). The modelling process conforms Ackoff’s wisdom hierarchy, which transforms data into information, knowledge wisdom. Data were obtained from meteorological station Northern Cyprus where Mediterranean Sea its favorable are key resources sector. monthly Tourism Climate Index (TCI) was used at all stations digitized Geographical Information System (GIS) setting. Spatial analysis performed using Geostatistical methods, maps produced 12 month period, aiming identify temporal variations TCI values island. A climate-based Recreation Management (RMS) proposed determine three variables that both spatial drivers activities: climate, environment social factors. main application this mitigation problems “seasonality”, as they always pose challenge managers different
