摘要: For a period of slightly over 4 years, 80 children who had been seizure-free for at least 18 months while on anti-convulsant medication were prospectively collected. These randomly assigned to either the 18-months group (n = 41) or where medications continued another 6 before they gradually tapered off and stopped, i.e. 24-months 39). Twelve (29%) 41 14 (36%) 39 24 seizure recurrence during follow-up period. Log-rank test experience two groups patients showed no statistically significant difference between (p > 0.50). Similarly, when both combined other risk variables likely influence rate tested, only EEG abnormality discontinuation association with < 0.001).
