摘要: The results of non-resonant magnetic x-ray diffraction measurements the metamagnet FeCl2·2H2O subjected to an applied field, H, are reported. material shows two successive first-order phase transitions: at Hc1 = 3.62 T from antiferromagnetic (AF) intermediate (I) phases, and Hc2 4.67 T phase I a ferromagnetic low temperatures. We find that AF I phases coexist over wide range H below Hc1, when is decreased I phase. were able follow evolution and I domains with change H. coexistence appears not come demagnetizing effects, instead reflects intrinsic nature material.
