摘要: BACKGROUND. Glycolic acid is an alpha hydroxyacid that useful as a chemical peeling agent. OBJECTIVE. To discuss the techniques using glycolic to remove actinic keratoses, fine wrinkles, lentigines, melasma, and seborrheic keratoses. METHOD. Applied in carefully timed manner, depth of penetration can be titrated by duration application on skin. Chemical peels are left skin for 3 7 minutes most patients. For ideal results, peel repeated 4 times. RESULT. easily used all types with minimal risk. CONCLUSION. We have found adjunct other cosmetic modalities such soft tissue augmentation.
