摘要: This study was designed to gain further information on early plaque formation using a previously described method employing plastic films for the collection of initial deposits. To prevent loss loosely adhering material during processing dental microscopic observation, developed by introducing an agar protection deposits formed prior fixation, dehydration and embedding procedures. Four human subjects with healthy gingiva microbial periods 4 8 hours applied buccal surfaces premolars cuspids. After were covered surface coating acellular in or which bacteria, epithelial cells leukocytes observed. The microorganisms almost exclusively identified as Gram-positive cocci. deposit hour samples exhibited same general morphology, but more cellular components. Bacterial aggregation each other frequently mediated filamentous appendages bacterial cell walls. frequent observation close association between bacteria suggests that latter may play important role vehicle transporting solid mouth stage formation.
