摘要: Abstract Atmospheric CO 2 is well known to be a major contributor the “green house” effect on earth and as such it deserves treated any environmental pollutant. The present paper focused its biocatalytic capture by an anhydrase carbonic enzyme form HCO 3 − anions, followed trapping solid CaCO in basic conditions, “one pot” process. kinetics of formation with without were compared at 5 20 °C, crystalline nature formed. Depending temperature initial pH buffer used, two different phases observed: metastable vaterite stable rhombohedra calcite. was enhanced when stock solution 10.5, enzyme, used. possible mechanisms explain these observations are discussed. At 5 °C, precipitation rate increased addition multiplication factor >10. However, this also found depend concentration capacity. parameters, increasing first step, may lower reaction medium so quickly, that carbonate second step highly hindered. As consequence, overall actually decrease, for instance mass increased.
