摘要: Protein kinase D (PKD; also known as PKCμ) is a serine/threonine activated by diacylglycerol signalling pathways in variety of cells. PKD has been described previously Golgi‐localized, but herein we show that it present within the cytosol quiescent B cells and mast moves rapidly to plasma membrane after antigen receptor triggering. The redistribution requires diacylglycerol‐binding domain enzyme, independent its catalytic activity does not require integrity pleckstrin homology domain. Antigen initiates glycosphingolipid‐enriched microdomains, membrane‐associated co‐localize with these specialized structures. Membrane targeting transient, enzyme returns 10 min engagement. Strikingly, membrane‐recycled remains active for several hours. work thus characterizes sustained receptor‐induced signal transduction pathway establishes serine temporally spatially disseminates signals away from into cytosol.
