摘要: The genus Cosmos is native of America and constituted by 34 species; 28 them are endemic Mexico. cosmos used as a nematicide, antimalarial, antioxidative agent. aim this study was to estimate the genetic diversity among 7 species based on random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) inter-simple sequences repeats (ISSR) markers. With RAPD markers, obtained polymorphism 91.7 % 0.33, whereas these values were 65.6%, 0.22 from ISSR respectively, indicating presence high that analyzed. unweighted pair group method with arithmetic mean dendrograms both markers notably similar, revealing 2 clusters clear differentiation assessed. first cluster comprised sulphureus, pacificus, diversifolius, while second included purpureus, crithmifolius, bipinnatus, parviflorus. Besides this, clustered according their collection sites. Mantel test corroborates correlation between distance geographic altitude each species. results suggest it necessary preserve in natural habitat addition germoplasm for ex situ conservation.
