摘要: With stricter regulations imposed by the European Union and various governments, it is not surprising that automotive industry continuously looking for alternatives to Spark Ignition (SI) Compression (CI) Internal Combustion (IC) engines. A promising alternative Homogeneous Charge (HCCI) engines benefit from low emissions of Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) soot high volumetric efficiency. In an IC engine, HCCI combus‐ tion can achieved premixing air-fuel mixture (either in manifold or early Direct Injection (DI) – like a SI engine) compressing until temperature enough autoignition occur (like CI engine). However, enignes have limited operating range, where, at loads speeds, rates heat release pressure rise increase leading knocking loads, misfire may occur. Thus, global investigation being undertaken examine parameters effect combustion.
