摘要: Objectives This study investigated the etiology of acute viral hepatitis and compared clinical features E virus (HEV) infections with those other in Korea. Methods included 2,357 consecutive patients who were diagnosed hepatitis, based on illness jaundice or elevated alanine aminotransferase levels (>100 IU/L), between January 2007 2016. Acute observed 23 (19.8%) HEV, 49 (42.2%) A virus, 28 (24.1%) B 16 (13.8%) C virus. Results The incidence HEV infection was higher among older (median age: years) male (69.6%), associated consumption undercooked uncooked meat (43.5%). Half involved underlying liver disease, such as alcoholic chronic B, common bile duct stones, autoimmune hepatitis. Two HEV-infected Guillain-Barre syndrome, although no developed fulminant Conclusion Our findings indicate that Korea is frequently transmitted through raw may cause disease.
