摘要: The advantages of thermoelectric energy conversion technologies are briefly summarized. Recent material advances discussed, with the focus on one-dimensional (1-D) self-assembled molecular materials as building blocks for new materials. preparation, doping, and thermal characterization phthalocyanine based presented. conductivity doped material is lower than undoped material even though electrical orders magnitude higher undoped material. This counter intuitive against backdrop Wiedemann-Franz treatment conductivity in conductors from which one would expect to both increase with introduction additional charge carriers. These unusual results can be understood a competition between the generation an increased number carriers enhanced phonon scattering resulting the introduction chemical dopants. phthalocyanines has been found be small only modestly temperature dependent in 50-300 C range, but it larger previous, indirect measurement.
