摘要: Abstract Conventional electrodialysis (ED) and with ultrafiltration (EDUF) or nanofiltration (EDNF) membrane treatments were carried-out for partial desalination of sea water to evaluate their potential the production physiological water. A demineralization rate 10.6% was obtained EDNF 40.25% EDUF conventional ED processes. The membrane, due its high electrical resistance, slowed down migrations ions. Moreover, use an had no significant effect on electrodialytic parameters in comparison membranes. between 20.5 30.1% each cation analyzed following 43.3 64.4% when used. decrease concentration monovalent ions slightly larger than divalent case while EDNF, higher observed calcium ion. This means that replacement a cation-exchange by would not change selectivity process ion separation but cation-selectivity appears.
