Self-sustaining platforms: a semantic workflow engine

摘要: In this paper, we provide a novel semantic workflow system, based on functional service descriptions and rule file. The engine follows three-step process. First, it determines for all the resources in its knowledge base functionality they need to progress workflow. This uses phase-functionality file which binds phases of functionalities. During second phase, functionalities are mapped REST calls using RESTdesc descriptions. third step, executes generated pushes resource acted next phase phase-transition main advantage approach is that each step can be influenced by external information from Linked Open Data cloud. It exploits fact RESTful Web services APIs resource-oriented. Moreover, makes system easily adaptable extensible achieve new or obey changing company policies. Finally, separation between supports easy management over fast-changing at hand.
