摘要: Two important topics often explored in the franchising literature are network internationalization and plural form. Yet up until now, these two research streams have not converged. The purpose of this paper therefore is to explore potential significance link between form determine whether influence on positive or negative. An empirical study involving 493 French networks, which 28.2% international, reveals existence major differences international networks purely-domestic terms form: average rate for with operations abroad equals 34.6%, comparison 43.3% networks. Moreover, logistic regression results underscore significant negative impact internationalization. A number explanatory elements inherent surprising findings will also be presented.
