摘要: Charge state evolution of the energetic projectile ions during passage through thin carbon foils has been revisited using X-ray spectroscopy technique. Contributions from bulk and solid surface in charge changing processes have segregated by measuring distribution target ion–solid interaction. Interestingly, measured exhibits Lorentzian profile contrast to well-known Gaussian structure observed electromagnetic methods theoretical predictions. The occurrence such behavior is a direct consequence imbalance between processes, which seen various cases laboratory plasma.
