摘要: A new free-wave method for measuring complex permittivity and permeability of materials at mm-wave frequencies is introduced. The use time gating removing the unwanted reflections within sample, its advantages in simplifying calculations decreasing dependence measurement accuracy on frequency are discussed. error due to imperfect gate parameters derived by simulation, optimum sample thickness recommended.
