摘要: Organochlorine pesticides, including dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT), are an environmental hazard due to their persistent nature and potential health effects. DDT 1,1,dichloro-2,2,bis(p-chlorophenyl)ethylene (DDE) lipid-soluble pesticides which accumulate in fatty tissues are, therefore, more present fat-containing foods such as meat, fish, milk, cheese oil than fruit, vegetables grain. Scientists have for some time been concerned about the human exposure risk of breast cancer its oestrogenic activity. The introduction containing chemopreventive agents diet could inhibit effects developing cancer. Phytooestrogens weak oestrogens found certain plants soybean. They compete with oestrogen receptors effect on cultured (MCF) cells. Curcumin, a spice widely used Indian dishes, has anti-carcinogenic anti-inflammatory properties. It also inhibits is synergistic phytooestrogens. Indole-3-carbinol, compound naturally cruciferous vegetables, stimulates metabolism towards 2-hydroxyoestrone reduces response MCF cells Since lipid soluble accumulates adipose tissue it role metabolism. Would low fat reduce bioaccumulation? A reduction calories can decrease levels possibly dietary modification soy products, curcumin, be beneficial reducing DDT.
