摘要: In Drosophila, the maternal terminal system specifies cell fates at embryonic poles via localised stimulation of Torso receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK). Signalling by pathway relieves repression mediated Capicua and Groucho repressors, allowing restricted expression zygotic gap genes tailless huckebein. Here we report a novel positive input into huckebein transcription posterior group genes, previously implicated in abdomen pole formation. We show that absence subset or their overactivation, leads to spatial reduction expansion domains, respectively. demonstrate systems converge, exclusion from termini mutants is ineffective, accounting for reduced gene these embryos. propose function coordinately alleviate transcriptional silencing Capicua, fine-tunes RTK signalling output, ensuring precise domains expression.
