摘要: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the accuracy an algorithm based on mass tensor model (MTM) for computerized 3D simulation soft-tissue changes following bimaxillary osteotomy, and identify patient surgery-related factors that may affect simulation. Sixty patients (mean age 26.0 years) who had undergone participated in study. Cone beam CT scans were acquired pre- one year postoperatively. rendered postoperative matched. maxilla mandible segmented aligned position. distance maps cephalometric analyses used quantify error. mean absolute error between actual facial profile 0.81 ± 0.22 mm face as a whole. (average ≤2 mm) whole upper lip, lower lip chin subregions 100%, 93%, 90% 95%, respectively. predictability correlated with magnitude maxillary mandibular advancement, V-Y closure. It concluded MTM-based soft tissue surgery accurate clinical use, though should be informed possible variation predicted
