Waste minimized synthesis of pharmaceutically active compounds via heterogeneous manganese catalysed C–H oxidation in flow

摘要: Herein, we present our results on the development of a continuous flow protocol enabling waste minimised synthesis relevant pharmaceuticals and natural compounds. Heterogeneous manganese catalytic systems have been used in combination with molecular oxygen to promote C–H oxidative coupling 2-aminophenols, benzenetriols o-phenylenediamines access variety 2-aminophenoxazin-3-ones (2a–i) related diaminophenazines (2j–k) purpurogallin (2l) minimal metal contamination. Making use safe green cyclopentyl methyl ether (CPME), this methodology allowed fast fully decorated entities, preserving stability heterogeneous catalyst which showed leaching, production (low E-factor).
