摘要: Near-infrared (near-ir) quantum dots (QDs) are well known for their excellent optical characteristics. They hold great potential applications in non-invasive long term observation and tracing of cells vivo. Here, near-ir QDs with an emission wavelength 800 nm (QD800) were used to label squamous cell carcinoma line U14 (U14/QD800). The effect tissue depth animal fur on the imaging sensitivity stability was evaluated following subcutaneous intramuscular injection into Kunming mice, employing vivo system. We have demonstrated that QD800-based visual increased cancer early detection by a factor 100 compared traditional methods. More importantly, this study proved first time has serious impact duration QD-based imaging. In general, QD800 not greatly affected less than 1.8 ± 0.21 mm (subcutaneous or intramuscular). This provides critical reference data further research cancer.
