摘要: Microfocal projection radiography was used to examine a new model of experimentally induced inflammatory arthritis, developed at Roche Products Ltd. The high resolution and magnification the stereoprojection radiographs provided non-destructive three-dimensional assessment changes in arthritic knee joints enabled direct measurements be made from radiographs. During time course study it possible quantify increase size suprapatella bursa early stages process, onset development erosions articular bones both juxta-articular systemic osteoporosis. The results quantitative radiographic when compared with standard arthritis assay techniques diameter flexion showed maximum damage latter were near normal. Histology confirmed results, although, alone did not contribute substantially occurring diseased joints. The that destruction bone progressed rapidly subsequent subperiosteal consequent invasion pannus into epiphyses. rate degree which destroyed independent extent osteoporosis had developed. Microfocal has considerable advantages over any other method quantifying for evaluating pathogenesis screening different compounds.
