摘要: A quantum random number generator (QRNG) based on gated single photon detection of an In–GaAs photodiode at gigahertz frequency is demonstrated. Owing to the extremely long coherence time each photon, photons’ wave function extends over many gating cycles photodiode. The collapse as well arrival events are used generate sequences bits a rate 4.01Mbit∕s. Importantly, outputs intrinsically biasfree and require no postprocessing procedure pass statistical tests, making this QRNG simple device.
