摘要: We present an efficient and robust quantum random number generator based upon high-rate room temperature photon detection. employ electric field-modulated silicon avalanche photodiode, a type of device particularly suited to detection with excellent resolution detect, without applied dead-time, up 4 photons from the optical pulses emitted by laser. By both measuring modeling response detector incident photons, we are able determine illumination conditions that achieve optimal bit rate show is against variation in flux. extract bits detected numbers efficiency 99% corresponding 1.97 per yielding 143 Mbit/s, verify extracted pass stringent statistical tests for randomness. Our scheme highly scalable has potential multi-Gbit/s rates.
