摘要: One thousand five hundred cases presenting with glandular cysts of the gastric mucosa (Elster's polyps) (64.2 per cent women, 38.8 men) were investigated. The average age 57.1 +/- 14.5 years militates against possibility these polyps being Hamartomas. In 41 out 100 submitted to follow-up gastroscopies, Elster's either reduced in number and sitze, or else had newly formed previously unremarkable mucosa--which is further argument hamartoma hypothesis favour a functional-secretory genesis. results 596 examinations colorectal epithelial tumours (24.8 overall group, 35.6 those patients examination entire colon by means colonoscopy and/or contrast enema). 21 adenomatosis coli (including 11 Gardner's syndrome), addition polyps, higher incidence adenomas upper gastrointestinal tract was also observed (57.1%), 5 taking form initial tubular apex polyps.
