摘要: Rotational cues in patients that suffer from bilateral vestibular loss can be delivered by prosthesis. Even though great efforts towards the development of a implant have been made, many parameters still to optimized. Numerical simulations neural activation during electrical stimulation give important indications about optimal electrode insertion site, waveform and configuration, terms highest selectivity. The first step this type numerical simulation requires digital reconstruction human inner ear calculation spatial potential distribution means finite-element methods.
