摘要: AIMS AND BACKGROUND In sarcomas of shoulder and chest wall, latissimus dorsi muscle gives the opportunity to solve any plastic problem without recourse free flaps. The authors report their experience in use pedicled flap as adjuvant procedure surgery bone soft tissue sarcoma. METHODS was used seventeen patients reconstruct composite defects after sarcoma resection or wall. Three groups were recognized. eight Group I received close cavity a multiple rib performed remove tumor II four had transported coverage over proximal humerus prosthesis previously applied resection. five III at same time arising area (1 4 sarcoma). RESULTS Two presented recurrent skin failure. A satisfactory complication provided all other 15 (88%). CONCLUSIONS Latissimus represents reliable effective technique large wall defects.
