摘要: Abstract Natural colloids sampled in rivers the Nsimi region (south Cameroon) were studied by extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) spectroscopy and pyrolysis-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (Py-GC-MS) to determine speciation of iron within these colloids. The analysis modeling EXAFS spectra revealed that is poorly polymerized due complexation Fe organic matter, since monodentate bidentate complexes detected. Py-GC-MS gave a closer insight into chemical nature matter; colloidal fraction, which corresponds sample, consists mainly carboxylic acids, thus explaining high level Fe.
