摘要: Volumetric visceral abdominal adipose tissue (VAT) and subcutaneous (SAT) as measured by computed tomography (CT) are associated with metabolic risk factors. We sought to identify the correlations of VAT SAT between area-based measures at different anatomic locations volumetric measurements optimal site, relate this site volumes across total imaging volume, whereas we area seven predefined landmarks in 200 participants from Framingham Heart Study (mean age 54 years, 50% women) who underwent multi-detector CT. Correlation coefficients were used assess association well factors stratified gender. Area-based obtained all strongly (all r>0.93, P 0.87, P<0.0001, for women men; respectively). Consistently, L3/4 most independent (both r=0.99 men, r=0.96 women, P-value <0.0001) similarly correlated compared P<0.05 fasting plasma glucose, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein, systolic blood pressure). Among VAT, those level cardio-metabolic both men women.
