Reproduction in llamas and alpacas: A review

摘要: In this review we attempt to compile and summarize the diverse often contradictory material presented on reproduction of llamas alpacas (hereafter referred as lamoids). Lamoids have recently gained international popularity, theriogenologists are asked intervene in clinical management reproductive problems these animals. We therefore present a discussion anatomy, physiology, behavior well follicular dynamics observed with ultrasonography. The nonsurgical embryo transfer procedure nutrient requirements also discussed.
