摘要: Abstract In fusion power plants a tritium permeation barrier is required in order to prevent the loss of fuel inventory. Moreover, necessary avoid that situation radioactive accumulates first wall, cooling system, and other parts plant. Oxide thin films, e.g. Er2O3 Y2O3, are promising candidates as layers. With regard application, this especially true for Y2O3 due its favorably low activation behavior compared candidates. films deposited on reduced steel Eurofer97 by means magnetron sputtering. To quantify reduction factor new gas-driven deuterium measurement setup was constructed. Comparing flux through bare substrate coated substrate, can be determined. The results suggest same range Er2O3. morphological analysis measurements indicate long term stability performance depends saturation film.
