摘要: We investigate the effect of spatial symmetries on phase coherent electronic transport through chaotic quantum dots. For systems which have a symmetry that interchanges source and drain leads, we find in framework random matrix theory density transmission eigenvalues is independent number channels N leads. As consequence, weak localization correction to conductance vanishes these systems, shot noise suppression factor F N. confirm this prediction by means numerical calculations for stadium billiards with various lead geometries. These also uncover signatures partially preserved symmetries.
