摘要: Polyalkylene glycols (PAGs) are a type of synthetic lubricants widely used as compressor lubricants, gear oils, hydraulic fluids, and metal working fluids. The PAGs with typical molecular structure can dissolve in water, which makes it candidate for the base stock water-based lubricants. Till now, most investigations on lubrication have focussed additives. In this work, potential aqueous solutions to replace water stocks has been investigated. Four types different weight their concentrations were studied reveal elastohydrodynamic (EHL) behavior. It found that form EHL film like traditional oils. film-forming capability depends viscosity, pressure–viscosity coefficient, PAGs. results indicate solution be employed lubricant.
